Control of fertilization
Control of fertilization is done approximately 16-20 hours after the contact of ovaries and spermatozoa. The presence of two pronuclei (one pronucleus surrounds the chromosomes of the egg and the other chromosomes of the sperm) in the center of the egg indicates an achievement of normal fertilization.
